The Health and Safety at Work Act will come into force on 4 April 2016. Are you ready?
CCANZ has scheduled a series of workshops on the new Act in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch in early March 2016.
At this workshop you will be provided with practical and informative advice on:
1. The new health and safety laws and what they mean
2. Obligations on employers re the proposed Worker Participation Regulations
3. Duties of persons conducting a business or undertaking, and company officers
4. What to do if there is a serious accident at work
5. What to do if WorkSafe New Zealand come knocking on your door
6. What you should do next: including updating policies and practices
The workshop will be targeted at all sectors in the wider concrete industry, including placing and finishing, sawing and drilling, ready mixed concrete production and precast concrete manufacture.
