At the October CCANZ AGM held in Queenstown Dene Cook, representative of the New Zealand Portland Cement Association (NZPCA), was appointed to the role of CCANZ Chair.
Dene is familiar to many as a former CCANZ project manager, and more recently as the technical manager for Firth Industries and currently Fletcher Building.
Dene replaces Ross Pickworth, general manager cement at Holcim (New Zealand) Limited, who as a NZPCA representative occupied the Chair position from 2010.
Ross will remain a CCANZ Board member.
