The 2009-10 CCANZ Annual Report was presented at the 2010 Annual General Meeting held recently at
the New Zealand Concrete Conference in Wellington.
Reporting against the strategic plan, the report outlines achievements within the following areas - Baseline Activity, Communications, and Projects - the latter grouped into the following areas:
- Growth – Campaign for Concrete
- Competitive Construction System
- Education, Training and Research
- Legislative and Regulatory Framework
The fulfilment of the CCANZ work programme during the 2009-10 year required a positive, resilient and above all innovative approach. The need to work smarter, as well as harder, ensured CCANZ fulfilled its representative role and in so doing assist the entire industry to emerge more swiftly from recession as well as position itself to take advantage of the eventual upturn.
