Rob Gaimster - Chief Executive

Rob, a senior engineer from the United Kingdom, joined the CCANZ team as Project Manager in late 2006. Rob was previously National Technical Manager with heavy building materials giant Cemex Materials UK and is a Past President of the Institute of Concrete Technology. He is a qualified civil engineer and has broad technical knowledge and experience in concrete technology.

Angelique Van Schaik - Financial Administrator

Angelique has responsibility for the Association's financial systems and provides administration support for the Association. She also provides valuable accounting and secretarial support to the CCANZ affiliated associations - NZRMCA, NZCMA and Precast NZ.

Joe Gamman - Education and Development Manager

Joe brings to CCANZ substantial scientific and commercial experience, focussing most recently on research management in both the university and commercial sectors. In his new role Joe will seek to develop closer relationships between the concrete industry and tertiary institutions, explore concrete research opportunities, and develop a broader understanding of market trends. 

Ralf Kessel - Project Manager

Originally from Germany, Ralf has worked as a project architect for a number of Berlin based practices, during which time he was involved with a series of large-scale developments. Ralf spent five years in Ireland, where as part of a prestigious Dublin based practice he worked on commercial projects and numerous medium-rise city residential properties. Ralf’s extensive list of achievements have integrated a range of aesthetic and practical concrete applications, including precast panels, in-situ floor slabs and concrete masonry.

Adam Leach - Information and Communications Manager

Adam brings experience to his numerous roles at CCANZ. His research skills ensure he can source the latest information from around the world, and make him an integral part of the technical enquiry service. He also co-ordinates all CCANZ communications activities, including project and member communications.
